My (Bad) Habit Review

My husband actually gave me the title for this blog when he saw the "My Habit" box displayed on our dining table. Our conversation went like this:

Husband: What's that?
Me: Nothing...
Husband: What was delivered in that box?
Me: Um...I'm wearing it BUT it was 60% percent off and I'm reviewing the site.
Husband: The site is called My Habit? It sounds like another one of your bad habits to me.
Me: (Big Smile)
Well I'm not sure why Amazon named their membership fashion site "MYHABIT". I read a critique of the name of website and their blog which is strangely called "The Fix". Anyways, if,,, and already rule your 8am-9am day then stop reading this review now. was developed and launched by in 2011. Like the rest it is a member-only fashion destination offering up 60% (but sometimes more) off designer brands. Daily, limited-timed sales begin at 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET. Their brands are similar to offering more high end luxury designers like Marni, Chloe, Thakoon, Rogan, and Luca Luca. What sets them apart from the rest are their video displays of their models wearing the clothes (remember Amazon has way more money than these other start-ups). In addition, MYHABIT links to your amazon account so there is no need to register your credit card and address info. They also offer fast, FREE shipping + returns in the U.S.A. unlike the other sites that charge a $10. If you picked up a dress and wanted to wear it immediately they also offer overnight delivery for $15 to most locations.
The vegan leather jacket I purchased was originally listed for $98 but I bought it for $38 flat (no charges for tax or shipping). I ordered it Sunday morning, received my confirmation on Monday morning that it was shipped, and I received it on Thursday. Their shipping was extremely fast -faster than Ideeli, Ruelala, and Hautelook. Definitely check out the site and judge for yourself. I think they are featuring vintage Chanel tommorrow ;-) My husband was right I see MYHABIT evolving into another bad habit. I hate it when he is right.

I call this my Spring 3.0 (latest version) leather jacket. Purchased for $38 (original price $98) on MYHABIT
Super soft leather

My outfit details above: Drifter vegan leather jacket $38, Zara tank top $15, navy blue Gap pants $20, House of Harlow sunburst necklace $20, & Marc Jacobs boots $75 (purchased a few years ago for 90% off).
Julia's outfit: red Gap pants (free), Nordstrom flats $80, Dorothy Perkins top, and Gap jean jacket.
Wore to: Mission Bowl last Saturday.

  1. I love how you paired the rainbow top with your leather jacket. It's a great contrast.

  2. How did Julia get free Gap jeans? Did they have a promotion? Just curious.

  3. Oh... they're actually $59 and I love them. The fit is just so right! (I did get a coupon since I help them with their social media strategy)

I love comments!
